way past my new bedtime……

Hello. Wow – it’s been a long time since my last update.

I can’t believe I didn’t write an entry about my graduation result – you’d think that it would be worthy of an entry. I guess it was such a big event that I was too busy being congratulated and getting drunk to write a meaningful narration! I was, and still am, very proud of my 2:1. Mum and everyone are really pleased – a fact demonstrated by the very cool Graduate helium balloon that I received… plus the donation to my Round the World fund.

So… quite a lot has been happening. Here is quick rundown (quick as it’s 11pm and I should be in bed…… Jesus!)

· I’ve started training for my job at Barclays. It’s going okay so far as it’s still new and exciting. I’m not sure when the novelty will wear off. The people seem to be fairly cool – a nice mix…… young and old, male and female, gay and straight (I think!).
· I’ve received a very generous donation to my Round the World fund. I have the cash to pay for my flight – which means it’s getting very serious! I’m going to have a consultation with a travel specialist to go over my plans and really get the ball rolling. So exciting!!!!
· It’s my brother Darren’s wedding on Sunday. I’m kind of looking forward to it, although I don’t particularly enjoy spending that much time with the Kelly family. They don’t really feel like my family…. More a poor substitute for the real thing. Seriously thinking of changing my name to McGilvray… for like the thousandth time.
· Ben is moving to Cornwall on Wednesday! It’s a crazy plan that came out of no where. He has no job or accommodation lined up. He’s just going. Insane… yes, but it’s things like that that make Ben Ben.

Okay. Its now 11.15….. way past my new bedtime…… which is terrible. Really terrible. Its Thursday night and for the first time in 300 years I’m not at work until 4.30am. Weird. Grown up almost. Almost.
